Hear the Unvaccinated Die of COVID

[ Editor’s Note: Finally we get to hear the sound of what goes on during the third shift in Covid ICU units. Think of not only the nurses hearing the ‘can’t breathe’ alarms going off all night, but also the patients whose sleeping schedules are out of whack.

These are the sounds of “there goes another one”, and unless they are heavily sedated, the patients also know what those beeping sounds mean.

They are also the sounds of ICU nurses getting PTSD if immersed in that environment without the needed breaks to get their minds regrounded.

We hear of them quitting, or transferring out of ICU work, but we have not heard of any federal program to track and follow up on the expected PTSD emergence among these people.

With the tons of money being spent on Covid-19, I hope someone is looking to make sure that these ICU people get what they need, not on a corporate but a personal level.

Yes, I know they are getting paid, but does it include ‘medical combat pay’, and rehabilitation when this is over, the worst of it anyway. The CDC has been hinting that Covid, hopefully at a low and manageable level, will be with us for years to come… Jim W. Dean ]

    Good Morning:

Thought I share this with you as I get these alerts. I know a lot of people have questions on this new variant.

The World Health Organization (WHO) identified a new SARS-CoV-2 variant of interest, which it labeled Mu.

In its COVID-19 Weekly Epidemiological Update, the WHO said the Mu variant, or B.1.621, was classified as a variant of interest on August 30, 2021.

The Mu variant was first identified in Columbia in January 2021. Since then, “there have been a few sporadic reports of cases of the Mu variant and some larger outbreaks have been reported from other countries in South America and in Europe,” the WHO said.

The WHO also expressed concern about the potential of the Mu variant to evade vaccines and treatments. “Preliminary data presented to the Virus Evolution Working Group show a reduction in neutralization capacity of convalescent and vaccine sera similar to that seen for the Beta variant, but this needs to be confirmed by further studies.”
