You have to remember that ReTrumplicans in New Mexico not only believe that Trump “won” the 2020 election, but many evangelicals here also believe that Jesus is the cure for COVID-19. Chairman, Steve Pearce, said back in December that ,”[Trump] is our president FOREVER, and no one can take that away from us.”
He might as well have told them that the vaccine is poison and to only rely on ReTrumplican-approved cures, like Ivermectin. The vaccination rate among ReTrumplicans here is embarrassingly low and they are dropping like flies, not only from the new delta variant, but from ODing on quack medicines as well.
