Greene and Gosar increasingly isolated in Hill GOP after speaking at a white nationalist event

[ Editor’s Note: As some anonymous guy once said, “You just can’t make this shit up”. Gosh, are these signs the Trump Repubs are ‘beginning’ to self-destruct when Biden has the lowest poll numbers yet, which he really hasn’t earned yet.

Now that the US wants a war with Putin, we have Trump playing the contrarian. And the war lobby has watched Kiev shell Donbas civilians for eight years without the slightest concern or pity.



This sadly includes our military. Here we have a few hundred unfortunate dead Ukrainians after the US has helped slaughter countless Syrians and Yemenis, so I see some selective sympathy going out the door.

Trump seems to be oblivious that he is a dead man walking politically, financially, and on criminal charges, and in the running for the most criminally charged ex-head of state in history.

Please don’t tell Trump I said this, as he might demand a ribboned medallion for it. What an irony it will be if Trump takes the Republican party down with him, for company.

With only Clarence Thomas hanging tight with Trump on the release of his archive records, I would bet that the others want a judicial life after Trump and not disgrace themselves along with him.

I don’t mean to be crude but I can’t think of a better way to say this. The US needs a full bore enema to get rid of the Trump constipation when we have suffered enough already. As Moses said in Exodus, “Let my people go”, say Amen… Jim W. Dean ]

Reps. Paul Gosar and Marjorie Taylor Greene are on an island among their fellow GOP lawmakers after appearing with a white nationalist group over the weekend.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and a host of other Republican leaders are condemning party members who engage with white nationalist groups, days after Gosar (R-Ariz.) and Greene (R-Ga.) spoke at the extremist-backed America First Political Action Conference.

It’s the most serious sign of isolation yet for the two Trump-allied conservatives, as party leaders criticize their actions and decline to defend them.

When asked if he plans to take action against Gosar and Greene, McCarthy said on Monday evening he would “have a discussion” with the duo. McCarthy described far-fright fringe organizer Nick Fuentes’s language as “appalling” and said the “language that he uses about antisemitism and the chanting for Putin is unacceptable.”

“I definitely want to disassociate myself from it,” said Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.). “It’s unacceptable.”

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) went more forcefully after Fuentes: “Nick Fuentes is an asshole.” Roy added that he is “frustrated by colleagues who have chosen to associate in this situation.”

McCarthy “needs to do a press conference today denouncing Greene, Gosar, Fuentes, announcing they are out of the conference, there’s no room for this,” Kinzinger added.

  1. I see no difference between supporting Fuentes or Trump. Neither has anything to offer in any sane discussion about the peoples business. It is the party of 9/11, racism, insurrection, and baby theft. Any posturing to distance themselves should be viewed as childish and insolent.
    The body, weapon, prints, and blood all found in their trunk, but they have no idea how it got there. Or in the case of the SD ag, glasses on the front seat.

The headline on this story and the photo-shopped picture above it are blatant propaganda in service to the neocon/rino elements of the Republican party which has never supported Trump and I believe actually gave assistance to the radical leftists of the Democrats in The Steal of the election of 2020.

    Next the author of this trash will be telling us that the video of the votes pulled from under the table in the Georgian ballot counting room didn’t happen. The imbalance of mailed out ballots versus those received in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Wisconsin was just a nothing burger. I feel gaslighted already. I’m faint with pure disappointment that VT would publish this trash. Trump Derangement Syndrome appears to be some sort of incurable disease. Oh, help me I’m passing out from my infection by TDS.     • Tom, It is a Politico story, with the main theme that the Republican leaders speaking for themselves. Click on the link for the whole story, and then write your emails to the Repub leadership. We are observers here. The Repub loons like to dish it out and we like to dish it right back at them. As for the vote count contact the judges that ruled against all but one Trump fraud claim. We don’t make judicial decisions, but we can read the count rulings that say the allged ‘evidence’ was all hearsay, which is not evidence in a court room. Your comment was childish, starting with thinking it was a VT opinion piece when we are just sharing a Politico news story, which any idiot could see but you. You showed the ‘Trumper disease’, you view everything through your own prism because you get a buzz out of it that way. Trump has more criminal investigations going on that all the other past presidents combined, and that does not include his own espionage dealing, to pick up some side money.
