The parliamentary commission to investigate the activities of American biological laboratories on the territory of Ukraine found signs of possible bacteriological sabotage in one of the schools on the territory of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). Deputy Speaker of the State Duma, co-chair of the parliamentary commission Irina Yarovaya appealed to law enforcement agencies in connection with the discovered information, the press service of the State Duma reported on Saturday. Thus, Yarovaya notes, specialists from the LPR provide information and documents “which testify to events that require a separate assessment and verification.” “In the area of one of the schools in 2020, counterfeit banknotes were thrown out, the study of which showed that they were infected with the Asian strain of tuberculosis.
The very fact that these infected banknotes were thrown out in the area of a children’s educational institution, knowing the curiosity of the child, meant that it was nothing more than sabotage,” Yarovaya is quoted as saying in the message.
She noted that law enforcement agencies seized banknotes and conducted the necessary studies that established the fact of their infection. “This is an example of a bacteriological sabotage that needs to be carefully investigated and assessed,” Yarovaya added.
Yarovaya’s meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Health of the LPR was held on Saturday in the format of a videoconference. The parties discussed information about the activities of the Ukrainian regime in cooperation with the United States on the bacteriological program on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the meeting participants also agreed on further cooperation in the framework of the investigation conducted by the parliamentary commission. “Representatives of the Ministry of Health of the LPR will act as experts in the ongoing investigation,” the report says.
Yarovaya also recalled that all the information received will be the subject of a parliamentary investigation, “will be included in the dossier and will be transferred to the authorized bodies.”

Earlier, the State Duma and the Federation Council adopted a resolution to conduct a parliamentary investigation into the work of biological laboratories in Ukraine, as well as to create a joint commission for such an investigation. The procedure for preparing for a parliamentary investigation began on the basis of instructions from the speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin. The initiative to conduct an investigation was supported by 448 deputies.

The commission included 14 deputies and 14 senators. The commission is co-chaired by State Duma Vice Speaker Irina Yarovaya and Federation Council Vice-Speaker Konstantin Kosachev. The first meeting of the commission was held on March 31 in the State Duma.
As Yarovaya noted earlier, the result of the commission’s work should be a dossier that will be sent to the President of the Russian Federation, the government, and international organizations. According to her, the necessary evidence will be presented in the dossier, “all causal relationships are built, all threats and challenges are identified, as well as all involved organizations, subjects of international law, officials.”

“The Kremlin is intentionally spreading outright lies that the United States and Ukraine are conducting chemical and biological weapons activities in Ukraine. We have also seen PRC officials echo these conspiracy theories. This Russian disinformation is total nonsense and not the first time Russia has invented such false claims against another country. Also, these claims have been debunked conclusively and repeatedly over many years.
As we have said all along, Russia is inventing false pretexts in an attempt to justify its own horrific actions in Ukraine. The United States does not own or operate any chemical or biological laboratories in Ukraine, it is in full compliance with its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and Biological Weapons Convention, and it does not develop or possess such weapons anywhere. It is Russia that has active chemical and biological weapons programs and is in violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention and Biological Weapons Convention.
Finally, Russia has a track record of accusing the West of the very crimes that Russia itself is perpetrating. These tactics are an obvious ploy by Russia to try to justify further premeditated, unprovoked, and unjustified attacks on Ukraine. We fully expect Russia to continue to double down on these sorts of claims with further unfounded allegations.”

I am amazed at this: it is possible to show Ukrainians 24/7 movies with this information (especially to the middle strata of the population), but after leaving the cinema hall they will again claim that there is no Nazism, no biological laboratories, no shelling of Donbass.
Sounds like a little science fiction mixed in here.
