[ Editor’s Note: Another day at the front. The full battlemap is showing more missile strikes, usually at night time, on the most important targets of the day consisting of ammo dumps, weapons warehouses, command posts and air fields, where planes are dispersed to and shuffled around. Drones are being extensively used and lost by both sides.

The Ukrainian airforce continues to be whittled down day after day. The war of attrition continues on.



The second Eastern Donbass theater records the ongoing positional battles, as the Russian supporter troops continue to execute a pincer movement to trap what is reported to be 16,000 troops in the Northeast.

Kiev forces are trying to deflect that via its movement to the Russian border north of Kharkiv, and by attacking the western flank of the Russian led forces.

Kiev is hoping the new heavy artillery, the M777 howitzers coming in will help its counter attack and inflict enough enemy casualties to break the back of the Donbass counter offensive. Southfront reported on the Russians’ first armed drone attacks knocking some of the first to be deployed. See the video footage of that here.

The New York Times had a sad story of the horrible state of the Ukrainian hospital staffs having to deal with the war casualties. It appears that many medical people took off early in the war as refugees, and the major military doctors are being held back in the bigger cities, leaving only smaller locally staffed hospitals doing triage on the war casualties.

The bad news is they cannot save limbs, but are having to amputate them due to these frontline doctor shortages. Of the tens of billions flowing into Ukraine, we do not hear of a medical rescue effort to deal with the difficult situation.

Morale in the Ukie armed forces will suffer greatly. If we see them used and written off as cannon fodder, and they are used in propaganda as great heroes, then we must ask Kiev where was the heroic medical care… Jim W. Dean ]

  1. Sorry, Jim, all of this is prelude, means nothing. The ultimate goal of the Anglo-Zionist Empire is a catastrophic war with Russia that will be the end of the USA and most likely humanity as well. The real “powers that be” don’t give a crap about humanity as such. They’ve long ago morphed into some kind of AI profit algorithm like what already controls the hedge fund market. Sad to say, 50 million US Christian Zionists are all for it. They have their Rapture suits all pressed and ready to go. They’ll be raptured up to Heaven while the rest of of are turned into cinder cakes. On the bright side, nuclear winter will be the cure for out-of-control global warming.

    • I believe that it is too late, the harm to humanity is already done! Now we have Monkeypox and it is sexualy transmissible.

    • The ‘handlers’ are always prepared for that and have a few substitutes, just as bad, ready to go in if his expiration date expires. When you have tons of money, and have a country by the throat, an army and an intel service, you plan for every contingency so you can counter punch to any blows you may get. The ones that are really good at this, die old and rich, with a big smile on their faces with all they got away with.

  3. I go by memory and I do not remember if it is a saying dating back to the Italian Catholic past. In any case, if it were my invention, which I presume not to be, the saying says “the devil makes holy water” which is in every church where the faithful before entering dip their fingers and make the sign of the “cross”.
    Now the devil does not only go to church but goes to the newsrooms of newspapers, TV,… and believers, pardon users, make the sign of the cross, the same one that appeared to Constantine (third century d.c.) and that said in hoc signo vinces.

    • Good question, i think that it is the commander that was leading the nazi´s in the Azovstal, it look´s like also the one killed in the downed heli in the reque attempt but i believe that it was the one leading in the dungeans.

  4. The howitzers supplied to Kiev were downgraded and all digital fire control systems were removed from them. So they are useful as a 200-pound Parrott rifle…. 🙂

    • The test for how ‘team trained’ you are is how well you do in extended multi-layer combat. The Ukies are hoping and praying that NATO troops come in to whip the Russians for them. They also know that they killed 14,000 Donbass people during the 8 years of shelling, and that is why the Russians are killing them now. If the Ukies had not done that, their whole country might be in a lot better shape and a brighter future. But they are ruled by thugs, hence the people are along for the ride…kind of like the American public is on all of our wars, mostly all manufactured, with no way yet found to dissuade the war mongers who want their money and aim to get it.
