Foul Mouthed GOP COVID Denialist, Scott Apley…Dead of COVID (comments?)

A GOP official from Texas who regularly espoused anti-vaccine and anti-mask views online has died from COVID-19, five days after posting a meme on Facebook questioning the wisdom of getting inoculated against COVID.



Dickinson City Council member and State Republican Executive Committee member H. Scott Apley, 45, died in a local hospital around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to a GoFundMe page set up to help Apley’s family with expenses. He was admitted to the facility in Galveston on Sunday with “pneumonia-like symptoms,” and was hooked up to a ventilator as his condition worsened. His wife was also infected, the family said.

“He leaves behind his wife, Melissa, who is COVID positive, as well as their infant son Reid,” according to the fundraiser, which has so far raised almost $15,000 of its $30,000 goal. “Your donations are greatly appreciated and will help the family as they get through this difficult period.”

“My heart is beyond broken for his family,” Dickinson Mayor Sean Skipworth wrote in a Facebook post. “Scott was a new father and that makes this loss especially tragic.”

Texas Republican Party Chairman Matt Rinaldi said in a statement, “Please join me in lifting the Apley family up in prayer. We will miss Scott deeply but find comfort knowing he is at peace in the arms of our Savior.” The announcement did not mention the fact that Apley’s death was COVID-related.

Apley is a staunch conservative and devout Christian. But based on his social media activity, Apley didn’t believe COVID was going to affect him or his family.  Read more..

    Do you really think there have been almost no flu deaths since March 2020 because of the effectiveness of face diapers and social distancing? And that forced injections of non-FDA approved experimental chemicals is something good?

Every aspect is a gamble, from what food to eat, what drugs to take or not, I took LSD, marijuana, hitch hiked from Detroit to Mexico, from Paris to India. Installed aluminum siding from scaffolding 40 feet up. Put all my money in Swiss Franks and smuggled 1000s of pounds of canabis across international borders and in leaky boats thousands of blue water miles. I believe that we are controlled by a criminal elite that is willing to do incredible crimes to dominate, control, and loot anything and anyone. But I make each and every decision after careful research and I got vacinated. New York hospitals using refrigerated simi- trailers for their coved dead, quashed any doubts I may have had to place my bet with vax. And I still have Ivermectin as a back up, until I find another treatment that “may” tamp down the rages of covid if infected, in spite of the Phizer vax that I hope is protecting me. Just another gamble I hope to win. What to do about the coming inflation plague is going to be another. Good luck to you on your bets.

This new variant not only kills you but first drives you bat-shit crazy. It’s currently being deployed in red states. Florida in particular has been double dosed for many weeks now.

Fear, and driving people to get the jab, when in fact NATO gas derivative, maybe EA3834, BZ type hallucinogen spread by Xylene, and polyacrylamide base for accuracy thru pressure heads, or even a cannon or drone. The stench is not bearable, yet many a livelihood is maintained by covert chemical weapon means, who is safe when such little is known.

    • As a long time reader of Vt, I am unsure of what is going on here. From Israel, Dr. Sharon Alroy-Preis, the Director of Public Health Services in Israel reports that 50% of all new cases are in those that have been fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated, meaning all the required shots for immunity. As well, according to the CDC’s own data, in an outbreak in July in Barnstable County, Massachusetts (Cape Cod) 469 cases were detected among Massachusetts residents, with 74 percent of those fully vaccinated. These numbers are fully documented by the respective orgs. Gordon, are these reports lies or what? If so, why? Don’t these fully vaccinated represent a danger to others? If they are infected and can infect others, what good is this vaccine? Since they can infect, why should they be allowed to travel using a vax pass? Does this not render any sort of efforts to contain useless? Something smells…even worse that the stench from pharmas windfall profits.

    • zman I think two doses are not always enough. “Fully” means per general guidelines at par. Case by case people should be treated above par.
      I was in Cotuit in July and first not everyone was vaccinated plus distancing was a thing of the past.
