While Russian forces appear on the verge of liberating the port city Mariupol, to claim a major strategic victory in the Russo-Ukraine War, now British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has resorted to the oldest trick in the NATO’s psyops’ playbook of accusing adversaries of staging chemical weapons attacks.

On April 8, Russian and DPR forces managed to storm the seaport of Mariupol, which was one of the key strongholds of Ukrainian troops, Azov nationalists and foreign mercenaries. After seizing most of the port, DPR forces began evacuating the crews of the civilian vessels which were stuck there.

On Sunday, April 10, Caliber high-precision sea-based missiles on the southern outskirts of the city of DNEPROPETROVSK destroyed equipment of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile division, which was supplied to the Kiev regime of one of the European countries, hidden in a hangar.

On April 7, the Russian MoD said that units of the Russian armed forces blockaded the town of Ugledar, where the mop-up operation was launched.

After the withdrawal of Russian forces from the Kiev and Chenihov regions, pressure on the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Donbass front lines increased.

Overnight, Russian aviation destroyed 68 Ukrainian military targets. Air-launched cruise missiles eliminated a large Ukrainian army’s fuel base in the Rovno region.

The general military situation in Ukraine remained relatively same during the last few days and most likely will continue to remain like this as long as the grouping of Kyiv’s forces surrendered in Mariupol city is not fully eliminated. Meanwhile, the Russian side intensified strikes on objects of military infrastructure, weapon depots and gatherings of military equipment all across the country.

Mariupol resident Nina Kulayeva, who fled Ukraine, has told Sputnik that scores of people died after neo-Nazis from Ukraine’s Azov Regiment deliberately destroyed the Neptune swimming pool in the centre of the southeastern coastal city currently surrounded by Russian and Donetsk People’s Republic forces.

On the morning of March 14, around 11:20 a.m. local time, Ukrainian units struck the center of Donetsk with a Tochka-U tactical missile equipped with cluster munitions.
