While Russian forces appear on the verge of liberating the port city Mariupol, to claim a major strategic victory in the Russo-Ukraine War, now British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has resorted to the oldest trick in the NATO’s psyops’ playbook of accusing adversaries of staging chemical weapons attacks.
On April 8, Russian and DPR forces managed to storm the seaport of Mariupol, which was one of the key strongholds of Ukrainian troops, Azov nationalists and foreign mercenaries. After seizing most of the port, DPR forces began evacuating the crews of the civilian vessels which were stuck there.

The general military situation in Ukraine remained relatively same during the last few days and most likely will continue to remain like this as long as the grouping of Kyiv’s forces surrendered in Mariupol city is not fully eliminated. Meanwhile, the Russian side intensified strikes on objects of military infrastructure, weapon depots and gatherings of military equipment all across the country.
Mariupol resident Nina Kulayeva, who fled Ukraine, has told Sputnik that scores of people died after neo-Nazis from Ukraine’s Azov Regiment deliberately destroyed the Neptune swimming pool in the centre of the southeastern coastal city currently surrounded by Russian and Donetsk People’s Republic forces.

The joint forces of Russia, the DPR and the LPR once again tightened the creep on Kyiv’s forces in the region of Donbass. Russia reinforced its gains around the Ukrainian capital as well as the country’s northeast, and reshuffled its units in Mykolaiv Region creating conditions for the advance along the western bank of Dnipro River in the south of Ukraine.

On the morning of March 14, around 11:20 a.m. local time, Ukrainian units struck the center of Donetsk with a Tochka-U tactical missile equipped with cluster munitions. The strike targeted the center of the city, where there is no military infrastructure or equipment. Civilians were deliberately chosen as targets.
