The recent days of the Russian military operations in Ukraine were marked by significant successes of the joint forces of the Russian Federation, the DPR and the LPR, despite the fact that the both warring sides are already suffering from their forces depleting.

This precipitating event for this upheaval of world affairs was the Washington establishment’s non-negotiable "principle" (endorsed by both neocon Republicans and neoliberal Democrats) that Ukraine must have the unilateral right to join NATO and thus change Ukraine’s 30-year post-Cold War status as a neutral buffer state in the Eurasian bloodlands.

There were significant changes in the configuration of combat forces on the fronts. Russia was rotating units and bringing fresh assault units forward amid intense work of artillery and aviation. At the same time, Kiev continued to withdraw its units from the Donbass region towards Zaporizhya, Dnipro and Kiev, but stubbornly defending well-fortified positions in the region.

Summary of military situation. Mariupol: Stubborn fighting continues in the city, but signs of the soon to be collapsed defense are increasingly evident. Fighting has already approached Azovstal, from the west the troops have advanced deep into the city blocks.

The envoy suggested these nationalist forces were preparing a provocation to accuse Russia of using chemical weapons.
