Therapist, nutritionist Anna Belousova, in an interview with Zvezda, told why sweet lovers are more susceptible to the risks associated with coronavirus infection. The physician explained that people who are on self-isolation and work remotely, in a state of stress, begin to consume excessive amounts of sugary foods.

“We eat sweets and starchy foods in a state of stress. If there is no usual physical activity in the form of walking, go to work. We run the risk of gaining weight. The more excess weight, the worse we are, ”she warned.

According to Belousova, when a person eats too much sweets, the composition of the intestinal microflora is greatly disrupted.

“Bifidobacteria love fruits, vegetables, cereals – wherever there are plant fibers. This is the best food for them. And they don’t like bread, rolls and sweets at all. When we start eating this more than necessary, then we develop dysbiosis. And dysbiosis is a decrease in immune defense, ”the nutritionist emphasized.

The doctor also added that in people who are overweight, the heart works with additional stress.

“The cardiovascular system has to serve more volume than it expects. Since coronavirus affects not only the lungs, but also the cardiovascular system, those who have it overloaded are at risk, ”said the therapist.

Thus, the doctor concluded, people with chronic cardiovascular diseases and who have suffered such vascular disasters as a heart attack during the pandemic are also at risk.

“When did WHO change the definition of pandemic?

On 10th January 2010, the WHO put out a press release stating that they had not changed the definition of epidemic mid-way through the Swine flu, in order to ramp up sales of an unnecessary vaccine for a virus which did not fit their previous definition of the word “pandemic”. Their porky comes after a European governing body announced a formal investigation of WHO for consistently scaremongering H1N1 into something dangerous, when it is not even as bad as normal flu, and…according to them… doing it because WHO experts have their hands in the “pharma tills” big time.”
