War in Ukraine is part of the Global Battle for resources
…from Southfront
[ Editor’s Note: The Ukraine War continues to drift sideways without any large offenses, despite the elimination of most of Kiev’s air force, and lots of its military infrastructure. Moscow seems to be planning its military moves to minimize combat losses, strategy that is understandable.
But the wild card is that NATO, which is not involved in the war, actually is in most every way except for moving troops in with large formations, yet. I use the term, wild card, as it seems obvious that NATO assets have been there assisting Zelensky in a number of ways.
South Front has its recap below. No one’s name was on it, so I suspect it is their staff’s view, including what the ‘long game’ for NATO and the West is. I was pleased to see them mention the ultimate goal of fracturing Russia into pieces to pass out to the various warmongering parties to asset strip, the usual prize for these wars.
The Western citizens are going to suffer, with discomforts, but nowhere near those of Ukraine. The mention of Putin not being reelected was a surprise, as it is way too early to be selling lottery tickets on that.
The worldwide economic suffering has not kicked in, and when it does, there is going to be a lot more unhappy people and the hot potato blame game will be a war in itself, with Western leaders working to put the monkey on Putin’s back, but the world public knows the Western powers manufactured the war.
If the war drags out to the end of the year, and food production is way down this summer, there could be a lot of political blowback in the West, dare I say anti-war. But the saddest part is the castration of the UN, basically ignored by media, the focal point of nothing, even though putting the brakes on wars is supposed to be its primary job.
I just watched a video of a helicopter die tonight. I don’t know which side. It was flying low over the usual farm land, shooting off what seemed like a never ending supply of flares while twisting and turning, but he never fired on a target.
In the tree line the manpad crew patiently waited until the last flares were used up, and prayed that the chopper stayed in range, which it did, and they got him, a quick death for the chopper pilot.
One of my worries in all this is that some party is sitting and waiting for the right time to take its best shot that might turn this whole conflict around, but that could be for good or bad. We will have to sweat it out to see… Jim W. Dean ]

More than 5 million people have left Ukraine since the start of the Russian military operation. Before the beginning of the active phase of the war in Ukraine, the real population of the country, that is, those who permanently reside in Ukraine for at least 6 months a year without going abroad to work, was estimated at 21-27 million people.
It is obvious that in recent years the majority of Ukrainians under the age of 36 have left the country in search of a better life.
The outflow of the population continues. Many key enterprises of the country were closed. In a number of regions, spring sowing was completely disrupted.
On April 22nd, Boris Johnson opined that the war in Ukraine will continue until 2023. This aspiration follows the wishes of neoliberal globalists, who have three main tactical goals:
- Not to give a chance to their patriotic opponents in the US to oust the Biden rule, justifying the current situation with an immediate “external threat” to the welfare of US citizens, currently with the Russian threat, and further with the Chinese one if necessary;
- To exhaust Russia as much as possible before the 2023-2024 electoral cycle, when Putin certainly could not remain in power due to his age and the negative public opinion caused by his team’s constant “half-way measures”;
- To inflict an irreparable blow on the population of fertile Ukraine by burning its most active part in the war with Russia. This is the most important task in a historical perspective. This is what Berlin (Hitler) failed to implement in the 40’s, but what Washington is now successfully implementing. Internet propaganda and money turned out to be more effective than concentration camps, massacres and burned villages. Although, experience has proven that the first does not cancel out the second.
For their part, Europeans have found themselves in an extremely difficult situation. If the war drags on until autumn 2022 or winter 2023, the EU’s current problems will escalate into a full-blown crisis complicated by flows of refugees from Ukraine, Africa and the Middle East.
Inflation will certainly exceed 10%, even in the most industrialised EU countries. The issue of food and energy shortages will become acute for the bulk of the population.
At the same time, famine and bitter cold will come to Ukraine which was acknowledged as the main outpost of resistance against “the eastern barbarians” by European propaganda.
The European media, in pursuit of sensations, will replicate the terrible stories from the Eastern Front and the suffering of the Slavs. It is likely that the main topic will be the global injustice, as the Russian barbarians control a large part of the resources that should serve the entire “Civilised Humanity”, in other words the Anglo-Saxon (A-S-J) establishment.
We are not going to make any kind of a statement here. This is clear to almost everyone. That is why Germany says it will not supply heavy weapons to Ukraine. That’s why in France the word “Russia” is used more often than “France” during election debates.
A big part of the elites in European countries, including Russia, are not independent. They are bound not so much by the money itself, but by their so-called “family values”.
By the way, this was the slogan of the Russian gas giant Gazprom. In the 2000s and 2010s, the term “family values” was strongly associated in the Russian information space with the financial well-being of the pro-Western oligarchy, and not with the idea of the “mom-dad-kids” business.
We would be delighted if our readers could explain how the global oligarchic economic model we are currently witnessing, which is dictating wars and suffering around the world, could be assessed differently.
Back to the war in Ukraine. The current state of affairs is becoming difficult to explain with reports from the front lines only. The Russian military has an obvious advantage on the front lines and inflicts significant damage on its opponents on a daily basis.
From a military point of view, we are witnessing a change in tactics from a rapid victories by leaps and bounds to the systematic destruction of enemy forces and means. However, Moscow’s contradictory political statements have a negative impact on the morale of Russian, DPR and LPR units.
The moral and psychological state of the AFU soldiers is in a much worse state, which is reflected in the fact that many hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers have already surrendered without a fight. Neither side was prepared for a war of such scale and intensity.
At the same time, neither side is willing or able to achieve peace through diplomatic negotiations. The Washington establishment will not allow Kiev to do this. In turn, the Kremlin’s freedom of action is limited by public opinion and the threat of the collapse of the country if negotiations lead to the need to leave the territory of the DPR and LPR and call into question the status of Crimea.
Moreover, it is difficult to imagine that even if Moscow agrees to all the demands of the West, sanctions will be lifted and the situation will return to the status quo like before the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Even changing the political regime in Russia won’t help.
Russia will be pressed to the end, that is, until its statehood is destroyed and its territory is divided into small parts. This is stated both by Kiev and directly by the A-S-J establishment. However, the collapse of Russia will not lead to peace.
One or another of the newly independent states would be subjected to aggression by the nationalist regime in Kiev, and there is a 99% chance that nuclear weapons will be used in response.
Thus, cumulative conditions, from the situation on the front lines in Ukraine to the global economic and social situation, suggest that a full-scale war in Europe is almost inevitable. This has already happened several times in world history, when crisis processes got out of people’s control and developed according to their own patterns.
Perhaps there is a last chance to stop the catastrophe if Germany and France dare to unite in an independent front, defending their sovereignty and the lives of their people. A very slim chance.

Why do the brain dead peeps in the USA continue to allow their leaders to make them a party to this insanity? Stupidity? Laziness? If it isn’t Biden in charge, it will be some other political whore working for the Zionist bankers. By the way, how many Americans can find Ukraine on the map? I expect very few. So, to restate Country Joe’s musical question from the 60s. “What the hell are we fighting for?”
South Front is a questionable publication at best. They will print innuendo without proof, insert their own idea of tactics and exacerbate tensions. They make me wonder at times. The statement that EU inflation will exceed 10% is laughable, it already has. Then they predict Putin’s demise due to lack of support, which at last account was at 80%. Then they discus Crimea and the rest of Ukraine as if Russia is not going to follow through, even claiming the destruction of Russia, WTF? The statement that Russia is not seeking a political solution, then going on to say that even if they did, it wouldn’t help. As if Russia would enter into negotiations and leave the questions of Crimea, which is already settled, in limbo? Please. They need to read their own crap. It”s laughable. Their claim that out and out war is inevitable is questionable at best, seeming to put the blame on Putin. Well, Russia is yet to economically attack the west, might we at least wait until that happens before we conclude Russia is lost? Another question I would love for them to answer is who is this patriotic group that would oust Biden? Trump? There are NO patriotic players in the gov, only puppets. Trump being an Israeli asset, as all the rest are, makes me wonder who they are talking about. I need to look at SF owners, might they be Atlanticists?
IF I were inclined to be negative, the evidence so far seems to point to a collusion of all involved to destroy the western economies and lead into a multi-polar NWO that the people would be inclined to find desirable. IF this is the true state of affairs, then China must act as well. It must be a total obliteration of western economic power. The title of this article is a foregone conclusion. It actually fits the NWO theme I mentioned, as does the religious component endlessly ranted about which pushes the righteousness buttons. As US propaganda does, reducing Russians to godless commies and murderous brutes, so does the endless Russian mentioning of LGBT issues in the west. One look at comment boards is proof. Those pushing such in the west are as representative of gays as is BLM of blacks. As in not. It’s social engineering propaganda leading to authoritarianism under a fake cloak of inclusion to destroy the cohesion of society. They could give a shit about blacks or gays in the least.
Keep in mind that like VT, SF publishes a variety of commentary. It should never be a surprise that people within a group have different ideas. That’s just another day at the office. What we are trying to shift out of all of this, is when people are lying, why at they doing it. It is just diversion so less focus goes into hunting what they are really doing, or is it creating perception chaos to get people arguing about their opinions when that time and effort my be better spent collecting more data and having it double checked. These wars are always riddled with feints and distractions. The last thing ‘they’ want is the public to have a good handle on what they are doing, and why. That is never ending work. Welcome to VT !

Lose hope about France and Germany, dickless Macron has been re-elected and the german…. well, better no talk.
Author: Nahum Goldmann (ardent Zionist and then-soon-to-be leader, for decades, of the World Zionist Organization and World Je wish Congress), wrote in 1915, in the midst of WW-I and on the eve of Russia’s destruction by revolution:
QUOTE
“The historical mission of our world revolution is to rearrange a new culture of humanity to replace the previous social system. This conversion and re-organization of global society require two essential steps: firstly, the destruction of the old established order, secondly, design and imposition of the new order. The first stage requires the elimination of all frontier borders, nationhood and culture, public policy ethical barriers, and social definitions, only then can the destroyed old system elements be replaced by the imposed system elements of our new order.
“The first task of our world revolution is Destruction. All social strata and social formations created by traditional society must be annihilated, individual men and women must be uprooted from their ancestral environment, torn out of their native milieus, no tradition of any type shall be permitted to remain as sacrosanct, traditional social norms must only be viewed as a disease to be eradicated, the ruling dictum of the new order is; nothing is good so everything must be criticized and abolished, everything that was, must be gone…
“After the destruction of the old order, construction of the new order is a larger and more difficult task. We will have torn out the old limbs from their ancient roots in deep layers, social norms will be lying disorganized and anarchic so they must be blocked against new cultural forms and social categories naturally re-emerging. The general masses will have been first persuaded to join as equals in the first task of destroying their own traditional society and economic culture, but then the new order must be forcibly established through people again being divided and differentiated only in accordance with the new pyramidal hierarchical system of our imposed global monolithic new world order.”

– Jim… Russia defeated…? Why do you think they showed the tests of the “Satan” missile?
You notice that no one in NATO or the EU will use the term WWIII as one of the potential outcomes of this. They know that does not send a warm and fuzzy feeling to the folks. Today Austin, in my opinion, really overplayed his hand, an indication of weakness, and of course keeps the WWIII aspect under the covers until now. Before this is over, if the West gets panicky, we will be hearing stories of Russian soldiers eating babies to keep the home folks riled up.
