Troops of the Donetsk People’s Republic took full control of Stepnoye and are pursuing the retreating units of the 53rd separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The recent days of the Russian military operations in Ukraine were marked by significant successes of the joint forces of the Russian Federation, the DPR and the LPR, despite the fact that the both warring sides are already suffering from their forces depleting.

Refugees from Mariupol confirm that the Drama Theater was blown up by Azov fighters. A woman who evacuated with her children from Mariupol reported that neo-Nazis blew up the Drama Theater before they retreated.

There were significant changes in the configuration of combat forces on the fronts. Russia was rotating units and bringing fresh assault units forward amid intense work of artillery and aviation. At the same time, Kiev continued to withdraw its units from the Donbass region towards Zaporizhya, Dnipro and Kiev, but stubbornly defending well-fortified positions in the region.

Summary of military situation. Mariupol: Stubborn fighting continues in the city, but signs of the soon to be collapsed defense are increasingly evident. Fighting has already approached Azovstal, from the west the troops have advanced deep into the city blocks.

On March 16, it became clear that the defense of the grouping of Kyiv’s forces in the Severodonetsk-Lysichansk agglomeration in the region of Donbass collapsed.

The technical pause taken by Russian forces has ended. The mass civilian evacuation from the cities in eastern and central regions of the country failed. In many cities, evacuation is only possible after Russian troops take control of street by street.

On the morning of March 14, around 11:20 a.m. local time, Ukrainian units struck the center of Donetsk with a Tochka-U tactical missile equipped with cluster munitions.
